Hello,
My name is Angie Baeza and I teach 4th,5th & 6th grade ESL at South Elementary. My husband is Tony and he works for the Natural Resources Conservation Service. We have two children, Arlene and Anthony. Arlene is a 2005 graduate of BHS, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2009 with a Bachelor's in Business, specializing in Marketing. Anthony is a fourth grader at South Elementary.
I graduated from UT El Paso with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Bilingual/ESL.
I have been teaching ESL in the BISD for twelve years. Prior to teaching in the BISD, I was a teacher for the El Paso ISD. I taught 1st, 2nd, 4th, & 5th grade Bilingual Ed. I have found that BISD is a very student oriented district.

One of my goals in ESL is to teach students to learn to love reading. I feel that reading is one of the most important skills students can have and the basis of all other learning. It is important that you read with your children and listen to them read every night. I really appreciate you spending this quality time together.
