Lets Get Active |
Welcome 2nd and 3rd grade students to the 2011-2012 school year at North Elementary. I am Barbara Collinsworth. I teach Physical Education. I am looking forward to another great year of fun activities in PE! Many exciting activities are planned in PE this year such as Speed Stacking, Football, Volleyball, Kickball, Soccer and many more.

MILEAGE CLUB |
Each week, weather allowing, students will go outside at North Elementary to earn mileage club points. Each lap a student walks or jogs around the West field earns that student a point. Each time a student earns 50 points (50 laps), they will earn a Mileage Club Toe Token.
Parents: Encourage your students to work hard for their toe tokens and be looking for your child to come home with one of these tokens. Each token symbolizes hard work, dedication, and sweat.

A Little About Mrs. Collinsworth |
I graduated from Eastland High School in 2000 and attended Tarleton State University. I graduated from Tarleton State in 2005 with a Bachelor's in Exercise and Sports Studies with a minor in History. I am in my 5th year of teaching. I taught 7th grade Texas History at Lincoln Middle School in San Angelo, Texas. I moved to Breckenridge and taught at South Elementary for one year. I then had the opportunity to come to North Elementary to teach PE!! I jumped at the chance. I love North and enjoy getting and keeping your children active!!!
