Class rules

We have 3 class rules:
1. Follow school rules
2. We are all important
3. We are all safe

These rules are for the protection and well-being of all of the children.
Conduct points will be deducted for misbehavior. Your child will fill out a conduct log if he/she chooses to break a rule. That way the date, infraction, and consequence are all documented.
An example:
Leaving class without permission= 5 point infraction
Talking excessively or disrupting= 2 point infraction
Disrespecting anyone= 3 point infraction
Disrespect includes any time the student is off task or any type of disobedience

We will have a variety of hands-on learning experiences this year and it is extremely important that the children are aware of the rules and expectations. I want our learning environment to be positive and encouraging.
