We have 3 rules in our room:
We are all safe.
We are all important.
We all share.

We will do lots of conflict/resolution so that even when we are not in the classroom, we can learn to problem solve in an appropriate manner. We will talk a lot about having character-doing the right thing even when no one is watching.

We read all day long. We look constantly for things in our environment that look like words or letters that we are familiar with. I read to the children everyday. The children read with me in small groups everyday. Each child has an opportunity during the day to read one on one to me. We play lots of name games. Ask us to read our planning pages to you!
