Fireman David took us on a tour of our fire station.

We got to watch the fireman put on all the equipment they need to go into a fire. The clothes are very heavy and hot. We also got to hear how he sounds when he has his breathing machine on so that if we are ever in a fire, we will remember to go to the fireman and not be afraid.

We got to meet the 911 operator. She let us look all around her office and listen to her while she told us about her important job.

We got to go see where the fireman sleep while they are at work. They have a cool pole that they slide down if a fire happens when they are in their rooms asleep. They just dress, slide, and jump into a fire truck!

The firemen showed us the big ladder truck and we watched as one of the fireman climbed way out on the ladder. Firemen are very brave and help keep us safe.

Mrs. Morris is so silly! She let us spray her with the fireman's water hose! Thank you for going with us Mrs. Morris!

We also got to tour the court and Mrs. Christy Copeland held a mock trial for us so we could pretend. We had a judge, a jury, 2 lawyers, a defendant, a plantiff, a court reporter, and a witness. Thank you Mrs. Copeland!
