This week we highlighted letter "Ss". We read a book called "Stone Soup". It was about group of village people that looked out only for themselves. When the visitors came to town, they quickly realized that they needed to do something to bring the village together, so they started making "Stone Soup" with just a stone and some water. As the villagers became more and more curious, they began bringing food to add to the soup. As each villager participated in adding to the soup, they began to enjoy themselves and each other.
We each brought an item of food four our soup and Mrs. Morris created our version of "Stone Soup". We loved it!!! |
