Dear Parents,

As you know the Reading TAKS test is complete and your child did an excellent job. I am very proud of their achievement. The hard work paid off. Hats off to the childen. What a successful testing session!!!!!!

We are getting ready to take the Math portion of the TAKS. This test will be given on April 29th. Please work with your child on math facts and stated problems. We will have math homework at least 2 times per week until the test is given. Please go over the math stategies with your child. Have your child explain how they solved the problem and why they underlined or circled the information in the problem. The more your child verbalizes the stragies, the better for your child to understand the steps in solving problems.

Again with your help your child will have the extra boost needed to do well with math.
