Spelling lists will be in their binders each week behind their green divider (LA). Please check with your child for homework assignments on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to be written down on Mon. in their assignment book. This way if your child is absent that week he/she will be able to do the practice homework and be ready to continue in class upon their return to class. Many students are being very responsible and doing the work when they are absent. This is AWESOME! Spelling tests will be on Thursday, unless otherwise told different.

Well, this is the third time I have attempted to add new info to this section. TAKS Writing is March 4, 2008, which is just around the corner. We have been working diligently on test-taking skills for the editing part. You will see many of the stories coming home where we did some as classwork together as a learning activity. Others will have a grade because they did it on their own. Please look over these weekly with your child to help reinforce what is happening in class. The more they practice, the better they get.
