Word Bank Drawings
In doing this assignment the students learned that art is a form of language. It has certain symbols such as line, shape, form, space, color, value and texture that students can put together in certain ways to communicate, much like a sentence does in the English language.

They had to randomly draw 4 cards from a box. A noun, an adjective, a verb and an adverb. They were then to put these words together to form a sentence and then illustrate this sentence without using any of the words they had drawn.

This is a very challenging assignment, because some of the sentences made no practical sense at all! Look below to see what kinds of sentences they had to illustrate!
Bryant Cabrera: The big bug leapt annoyingly.
Kami Patterson: The scary spider walked softly.
Raymond Baladez
The gruesome football player nuked anxiously.
Kala Stultz: The nervous bull tumbles jokingly.
Brooklyn Moore: The old teacher smiled grimly.
Susan Coffee: The sleepy bug nuked slowly.
Kelby Singleton: The colorful hubcap counted ferociously.
Kylee Singleton: The sleepy banana tumbled heatedly.
Margaret Arnot: The big shovel walked peacefully.
Jorge Puebla: The ugly football player jumped silently.
Daniel Funes: The ugly bug skied lovingly.
