My name is Julie Simmons. I have a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Oklahoma Baptist University, and an EC-4 Teaching Certificate in the State of Texas. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Education from TAMU-Commerce. This is my seventh year in Texas Public Schools, and my second as a classroom teacher. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked as a School Social Worker with Communities in Schools. I am "highly qualified" to teach Early Childhood through 4th grade.

My husband, Jody, is a Special Ed Teacher at Breckenridge Junior High and Breckenridge Buckaroos Head Baseball Coach. We have three children: Hannah, a 7th grader, Josh, a 5th grader, and Caleb, who will soon be 3 years old.
