This website is to help educate students and parents on the importance of attendance and how it affects the student.



ATTENDANCE

Education code 25.092 says in order to obtain credit for a class, the student must attend at least 90% of the days the class is offered. During the first semester a student can miss no more than (8) instructional days. During the second semester a student may miss no more than (9) instructional days.

THE EFFECT

Not only will this affect the students class credit...BUT it affects the issuance or suspension of their driver's license!
