Wow! Here it is the third six weeks period and almost Thanksgiving vacation! Students have settled down and are doing a pretty good job of listening. Encourage your child to practice practice practice keyboarding with good posture!

They will be and have been exposed to a lot of information this school year and I believe they will meet the challenges well. I make a strong attemp to teach them in ways they can remember. Remember, listening is fundamental to learning, no matter what the student's age is.

They will be involved in a lot activities, from cleaning computers to acquiring information from the Internet as well as touchkeying. Encourage him/her to keep all of their papers handouts in their notebook and their notebook grade will be a super-easy 100!

Some students still have a talking problem. I have arranged the seating charts in an effort to seperate talkers from others. If you have seen the Tech Ed classroom, you know that is challenging. Teaching, listening and learning must go on! I appreciate your understanding and support in this matter.

Students will be applying their keying skills the entire school year in all classes. It will benefit your child greatly to practice keying and good posture at home.

Encourage your child to prepare himself/herself to listen and learn each day, no matter what class he/she has.
