This 6 Weeks, we will complete our study of Westward Expansion and the United State's acqusition of territories. Following that, we will move on to the Civil War and end with Industrialization and Modern America.
Parents, please ask to see your child's graded papers each Monday. Also, check their Student Planner each day to see when upcoming tests are scheduled. If your child has a failing grade on an assignment, be certain that they have what they need to correct it for a 70. Never be satisfied with failing grades!

Students will need their parents help to study for each chapter test. To do this, they will bring home a Review containing correct answers. Please drill them on each question.On the bottom of each Review, you will find the address of a website where students can log on to complete a tutorial for that test.
Once again, the 5th Period class won the Snack City Race. But, a new six weeks has begun and every class is back at the starting line! Which class will win the coveted prize of snacks in class this Six Weeks!!!!
