Electricity
  Mrs. Lori Bufkin

Edison failed ten thousand times before he made the electric light. Do not be discouraged if you fail a few times. ~Napoleon Hill

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. ~Nelson Mandela

Never fear shadows. They simply mean that there's a light somewhere nearby. ~Ruth E. Renkei
During our study of the letter E, we talked about electricity. We learned about circuits and conductors. We were able to experiment with batteries and foil to make a complete circuit that would turn on a small light bulb.

Mrs. Bufkin would like to thank Mrs. Cory Boles not only for the idea, but also for helping her finally get her light bulb to turn on! The students were much quicker at figuring out how to do it!!
