Dear Families,
We had a wonderful time at the zoo!! The weather was perfect and our class was so well behaved! I am very proud of the way everyone acted at the zoo, at the playground and on the bus! Thank you so much to all of the parents who made this trip possible! There is no way we could have done it without you!
For the next two weeks, we will be learning about the ocean and animals that live in the ocean.
We will paint “pet rocks” on Tuesday during fine arts class.
On Wednesday, we will have our last MClass Math test. There will be a substitute teacher in the room and I will be administering the test individually to each student. The students did fantastic on the TPRI test, and I know that we will have similar results with the math test!
We will have a spelling test on Friday.
Snacks on Friday will be provided by Mia and her family.
We will not check out Library books this week. Please make sure and send any library books to school.
If you have not already returned the blue enrollment card, please do so as soon as possible!
I have said it before and I will say it again, this is one terrific group of kids! I am so grateful for having had the opportunity to work with each and every one of my students this year! As the year draws to a close, we are all excited about the summer and the future, but there is definitely a part of me that is saddened by the fact that these students are going on!
