In the words of Jerry Jeff Walker, "Hi Buckaroos!"
My name is MaryAnna Snyder, and I love helping kids have a better future. I realize the way to do this is to insure for them a good education. Another method I have chosen to use to help their future is to encourage them with the knowledge of their great worth as individuals. I have taught sixteen years, but I'm already in the second six weeks of my seventeenth. Ten of those years have been at Breckenridge High. I am a certified special education teacher who teaches resource English. My hardship is that I travel so far. As of last year's first frozen highways, though, my husband and I took on the neat adventure of acquiring an apartment in the First National Bank Tower. We live on the 7th floor there. (It's the sky scraper that holds the "B" that lights up with a Buckaroo victory!) That move in itself has sparked a brand new love for the beautiful city of Breckenridge! I realize all I had been missing by not actually L I V I N G in the community my students indwelled.
I do count it a priviledge and a challenge to mold students. The reward I get besides my salary is the maturity of the students I have taught. They are a work in progress, and they have helped me indeed to realize my purpose in life.
