The cowboy cookout was a huge success last Friday. We fed 248 guests. The children enjoyed delicious burgers cooked by BISD Maintenance. After the meal they rode horses, roped, goat ribbon pulling, and participated in stick horse races. All the activities were led by Carrol Kanady and her wonderful volunteers. 4-H members helped along with some wonderful parents. Most of the volunteers were there from 10:00 to 2:00 leading horses around and helping with the other activities. Words cannot express our gratitude for all their help. Thank you to everyone that helped make the day run smoothly! The children enjoyed the day! You helped make a great memory for them. |
