I have been teaching all my life (even as a child) but I have been a certified teacher for 4 years, in the fields of ESL EC-12, English Language Arts 4-12, and Generalist EC-4. Teaching English as a Second Language is interesting, challenging and a fast-paced learning experience.
Currently, we are just a few months (and 2 six weeks) away from the end of the 07-08 school year. I have enjoyed the ESL students at South, Jr. High, and High School this year. We have learned many new things and updated previous knowledge. Please encourage your child to read and speak in both languages this summer, to help retain the information they already know. |
