The Life Skills classroom is a place where students learn skills that lead to independence and success. We study subjects like math, science, social studies, and reading while relating the subjects to our daily lives. Our classroom is a place where everyone is accepted and encouraged.
Curriculum
Our curriculum is specialized for each Life Skills student, but we are all focusing on the same topics. Right now we're learning the value of money, basic reading skills, how to use charts and graphs, and how social studies fits into our lives.
Field Trips
We like to be active in the community by going on field trips. We are planning field trips to The Special Kids Rodeo and a dairy farm this semester.
