I'm really happy to be the 6th grade Science teacher. I have a strong background in science having worked as a registered nurse and health educator, a forest ranger/field archaeologist, and as a military and commercial pilot. I graduated from the University of Texas with a B.A. in Anthropology and a B.S. in Health. I have a graduate certificate in Parks and Wildlife Management from Northern Arizona University.
I also hold certifications in law enforcement (Texas and Arizona), commercial pilot (airplane and helicopter), and as a registered nurse and emergency medical technician.

We are completing our study of geology and will be transitioning to life sciences during the next few weeks. Some of the topics we will be studying include:
- The Atmosphere in Motion
- Life's Structure and Function
- Role of Gene's in Inheritance
- Interactions of Living Things
- Animal Behavior
We will continue to work in the class room, in our science lab, and, whenever possible, outdoors.
